Charlie Foxtrot is slang for cluster f*** in military language. After one political figure used it on the first anniversary of January 6, 2021, it became trendy on Twitter.

According to DeSantis, the majority of Floridians are unconcerned about January 6.

In a news conference, he uttered "Charlie Foxtrot," which went popular on Twitter.

Many people have a troll with the line, which has resulted in numerous memes.

What Is Charlie Foxtrot? Meaning In Military

Charlie Foxtrot is military slang for a tumultuous scenario, i.e., a cluster f***.

In the 1950s, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization developed a phonetic alphabet adopted by military and civilian radio communication. To reduce miscommunication, the alphabet employs words instead of letters.

In the NATO phonetic alphabet, Charlie represents the letter C, whereas Foxtrot stands for the letter F. The result is a Charlie Foxtrot for the compound cluster f***.

Charlie Foxtrot began as a metaphor for a bad operation during the Vietnam War in the 1960s.

Thanks to warriors coming back home from service and popular entertainment portrayals of the military, Charlie Foxtrot and another sweary military lingo like SNAFU made their way into the civilian sector.

📚 Word of the day - snafu - a chaotic and confused state, a mess.

Origin. Military slang accronym used in WWI: situation normal, all fucked (or fouled) up.

He used violence to try to undermine the people's will, and the public is still outraged that those in authority have not been punished or, at least, thrown out of the party.
